The D-Link DFE-690TXD is a 32-bit CardBus 10/100 Mbps NWAY Fast Ethernet PC card with a built-in connector, allowing direct plug-in for a RJ-45 LAN cable to a laptop and notebook computers. This CardBus provides connectivity for mobile users to easily connect to a network accessing databases and resources in diverse environments. This CardBus is ideal for users of notebook or laptop PCs with either the current CardBus or the legacy PCMCIA controllers. Adheres to IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standard, which specify existing 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet technology; supporting both half and full-duplex modes with data rates to 10/100 Mbps and 20/200 Mbps.
